Now I can site again for a period of time, I watched an
interesting program called ‘Close Up: Photographers at work’. Award winning filmmaker ‘Rebecca Dreyfus’
explored the private worlds of some of the greatest photographers at work
today, including Albert Maysles, Sylvia Plachy, Mary Ellen Mark, Andrew Moore,
Timothy Greenfield-Sanders and Gregory Crewdson. Having watched this I came to
the conclusion that I don’t like ‘Gregory Crewdson’s work, it is staged and
also to remember that ‘Letting the light happen’ is so important in
photography.
