I met with the local make-up artist I have been working with over the last few months on studio work. I delivered a DVD with around eighty finished images and she seems very happy!

I read an article on ‘Jeanloup Sieff’ about his fashion photographs since the 1960’s. There have not been many books published on his fashion work, mainly his portrait work. He started in 1952, worked for ‘Elle’ magazine in the 1950’s and then a number of magazines in the 1960’s including ‘Harper’s Bazaar, Show, Glamour, Esquire and Life’.  Jeanloup has photographed many top models and celebrities’ throughout the world over a long career.

I love the image entitled ‘boots Cassandre’, the black and white contrast, composition and not knowing what the model was thinking adds to this image.
